Happy New Year from The Smart Choice Cafe! We are excited to share with you our NEW 2012 Smart Choice cafe logo (pictured left). There are many great additions to the program coming this year! The Smart Choice Cafe is an exciting program in FIVE school districts in Oswego County including: APW, Hannibal, Mexico, Oswego City, and Phoenix.
The School Nutrition Directors from each district have teamed up to continue to offer the healthiest menu items possible to their students.
The program feature include:
- Nutrition focused tips for students & parents.
- Intoduction of local products and new recipes.
- Fun cafeteria based promotions to get students excited about healthy
eating!
- Nutrition expertise from Registered Dietitian, Molly Morgan, RD, CDN, CSSD.
